When I moved across the country for school, I left my beloved camping gear behind with my parents. When I got my first opportunity to camp on the West Coast, I was excited– until I realized that everything I needed was on the other side of the country. I considered investing in some new stuff, but camping gear is expensive.
That’s why I was excited to read about Parks Canada’s initiative to make camping more accessible. If you’re a camping fiend, you don’t mind shelling out the bucks for stuff that will last you a long, long time– but if you’re just trying it out, you might not be ready to make the investment. Here’s my write up on the project.
