About Me

Based out of Squamish, British Columbia, I love writing about — and enjoying — the mountain lifestyle.

After graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Real Estate), I spent my days immersed in the world of commercial real estate in Vancouver and my weekends immersed in powder– and lots of it.

A quarter life crisis lead to a temporary move to Whistler in 2012 (“Just for the season!”), which turned into a permanent new life in an inspiring place. After four years in Whistler, I moved just down the highway to Squamish, which now serves as my home base.

I’ve always loved writing privately, but I stumbled into the public realm after a chance meeting with an editor for a skiing website. He was looking for content; I had ideas. Today, I’m lucky enough to collaborate with several people and publications, in addition to working at the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business, where (among other duties) I write and edit textbooks and course materials.

Arts, culture, entertainment, and events are among my favourite topics to write about. I’m also experienced in writing about travel, real estate, and outdoor brands. If you’d like to discuss potential projects, please get in touch!
